Packed with vegetable protein and fiber lentils are great!  Nearly half of their carbs come from fiber.  They are also ideal for vegetarian and vegan diets.

Cooking Instructions:


  1. Bring water to a boil in a pot and turn to low (~ 1:1.5 ratio of lentils:water)
  2. Place lentils into pot with lid closed and cook for ~45min
  3. Season with coconut oil, salt and pepper


  1. Oil pan with coconut oil and turn to medium heat
  2. Cook eggs the style you want
  3. Spice with salt and pepper
