Purpose: To develop the outer middle pecs and bring out those cross striations.

 Execution: Set the bench so that the handles are at shoulder height; grasp ABOVE the handles with your palms facing forward; keeping your elbows high and slightly bent, bring handles around and forward in a big hugging motion; squeeze the pecs before slowly returning to the start position; DO NOT slam the handles together; make sure to work through the fullest possible range of motion and be sure to select a weight that will allow you to keep your shoulders in a retracted position throughout your set.
