Level: Beginner
Purpose: To target the anterior head of the deltoid muscle.
Execution: Stand with your feet shoulder width apart away from the cable system. Grasp a straight bar attached to the lower pulley with an overhand grip through your legs. Lift your arms straight in front of you with a slight bend in your elbows until your arms are parallel to the floor. Slowly lower the weight in a controlled fashion to your start position before repeating.
