Shoulders Primary Muscle Group for Exercise Demonstration

Equipment: Cable

Level: Beginner

Purpose: To target the medial and posterior heads of the deltoid muscle.

Execution: Stand with one foot in front of another and grab a rope attached to the high pulley cable. Take a couple of steps away from the pulley. Keeping your arms out in front and at eye level, pull the rope towards your face bending at the elbows. Squeeze the back of your shoulders as you pull back before returning to the starting position.
