Level: Intermediate
Purpose: To target the anterior head of the deltoid muscle.
Execution: Standing with your feet shoulder width apart, grasp a barbell with an overhand grip at shoulder width apart. Keeping your arms straight but with a slight bend in your elbows, lift the bar forward and up driving through your elbows. Try to keep your elbows higher than your wrists throughout the motion and lower the weight in a controlled fashion.
