Purpose:

Execution: Step under the hack squat machine and lock your shoulder and back under the support. Lift the weight off the hinges and take a medium stance (feet slightly wider than shoulder width). Keeping your body upright, bend your knees and lower yourself until your legs are at 90⁰. Imagine yourself sitting down on a chair. Drive through your heels up to the start position, squeezing your legs, until they are fully extended but not lock out, before lowering yourself for another rep.
