Level: Intermediate
Purpose: To target the posterior head of the deltoid muscle.
Execution: From a standing position, grasp the handles attached to the high-pulley cable such that your arms are crossed in front of your body. With a slight bend in your arms and keeping your elbows high, pull the cable out and back through a semicircular arc. Squeeze at the peak contraction before returning the weight for another repetition.
