Level: Intermediate
Purpose: To target the middle head of the pectoralis major muscle.
Execution: From a standing position, lean forward and grasp either side of an incline bench with both hands. Keeping your elbows tight to your body, slowly lower yourself until your chest contacts the bench. Press back up until your arms are fully extended but not locked out. Squeeze at the peak contraction before lowering yourself slowly to the start position.
