Level: Intermediate
Purpose: To target the inner/short head of the biceps brachii muscle.
Execution: Adjust the seat of the preacher bench so that your armpits are flush onto the bench. Grasp the straight bar at about shoulder width. Keeping your arms flush onto the bench, curl up through a semicircular arc. Squeeze at the peak contraction before lowering the bar slowly to the start position. Lower the bar until your arms are fully extended before curling up for another repetition.
