Level: Beginner
Purpose: To target the obliques.
Execution: Attach a handle to a pulley cable at shoulder height. Stand sideways to the unit at about arm’s length and grasp the handle with both hands. Keeping your arms straight out in front of you, rotate your body. Squeeze the obliques at the peak contraction before returning slowly to the start position. Make sure your head stays in line with the direction of your torso. Complete the set and repeat the same movement for the other side.
